I grew up here in Ventura, California. I attended Buena High School and graduated in 1993. From there I went to U.C. Davis where I studied English & Exercise Science. While studying at UCD, I also competed in both cross-country and track & field. After graduating in 1997, I began coaching cross-country and track at Davis High School. During that same time I began working on my teaching credential and my Master's. In 2000, I moved back to Ventura and started teaching and coaching at Buena High School. At Buena I taught a wide range of classes: Math, Reading, English, and Physical Science. I also completed work on my MA in Cross Cultural Education. I came to FTHS in the fall of 2002 and I feel like I have found my home. I love being here at Foothill and am looking forward to a productive and interesting year.
