ONE THING YOU WOULD SEND...

What Would You Send to Ralph and the Others?

Struggling to keep a lid on his struggling community, Ralph expresses the hope that the adult world might send him some help and/or guidance. More to himself than to anyone else, he says, "If only they could get a message to us, if only they could send us something grown-up ... a sign or something." Well, you are going to have the chance to answer his wish.

Please pick one thing within reason that you would like magically to appear to the boys on the island to help them in their difficulty. That one thing can contain writing, but you cannot add any text yourself; the gift should be self-explanatory, or at least semi self-explanatory. Of all the items in the world you could send, what would you choose. That gives you much lattitude in your choice, so spend some time thinking what that one thing would be.

Please have a graphic and then at least nine sentences explaining your choice. And please be ready to share your gift and the reasoning behind it with teacher and peers next time class meets.
